La cultura es todo aquello aprendido a través de las relaciones sociales, tambien son las cosas materiales, las ideas, los valores, las creencias de una sociedad, que se heredan y también se transforman y se reconstruyen a través de diferentes generaciones.
Culture is everything learned through social relationships, it is also material things, ideas, values, beliefs of a society, which are inherited and also transformed and rebuilt through different generations.
ADAPTATIVA: Porque los grupos se adaptan a su medio físico, así como el hecho de que las personas necesitan alimentos, cobijarse, comunicarse, estas condiciones están determinadas por su medio natural.
ADAPTIVE: Because groups adapt to their physical environment, as well as the fact that people need food, shelter, communicate, these conditions are determined by their natural environment.
APRENDIDA: La cultura no es innata, sino que éste aprende en contacto con los demás miembros del grupo.
LEARNED: The culture is not innate, but it learns in contact with the other members of the group.
COMPARTIDA: Es compartida por todos los integrantes del grupo. Por ejemplo cualquier miembro de la tribu aborigen australiana es un cabal representante de su cultura, habla un idioma, profesa un conjunto de creencias religiosas, tiene una visión del mundo similar a cualquier otro integrante.
SHARED: It is shared by all the members of the group. For example, any member of the Australian aboriginal tribe is a true representative of their culture, speaks a language, professes a set of religious beliefs, has a vision of the world similar to any other member.
SIMBÓLICA: Tiene que ver con los significados y la comprensión común más que con los objetos. La cultura no son los objetos en si mismos sino lo que estos representan. Una guiñada, un silbido, o un beso pueden tener diferentes significados en distintos contextos y culturas.
SYMBOLIC: It has to do with meanings and common understanding more than with objects. Culture is not the objects themselves but what they represent. A wink, a hiss, or a kiss can have different meanings in different contexts and cultures.
